GRADE 5

Capsicum Craze

At the beginning of the term, the grade 5’s utilised their Rubik’s Cube themed veggie bins and planted some capsicum plants. They did this by working with the Preps in a buddy session to achieve a common goal, the goal being successfully planting their veggies (strawberries & capsicums). Further, they discussed lifecycles of plants, sustainability and they shared gardening tips. The grade 5’s have been very punctual in regards to maintaining, watering and weeding and we hope that their hard work will pay off with some delicious organic produce in the future.
